About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Asheville, NC is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their supportive outpatient clinic. This position offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference daily, working with an average of 12 patients per day in one-on-one 40-minute treatment sessions. The role involves orthopedic, vestibular, balance, and neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on hands-on patient care, modern equipment, and a collaborative team environment. Requirements
- Active North Carolina PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- New graduates welcome!
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Track patient progress and communicate updates with the PT
- Maintain timely documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
