About The Position
PAM Health is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) with flexible scheduling options to join their team. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, with a focus on chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. PAM Health operates over 80 hospital locations nationwide and emphasizes compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience.
- A desire and commitment to learn.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, the PTA is primarily responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- Involvement in the further development of services.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
