About The Position
PAM Health is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) with flexible scheduling to join their team and care for a diverse patient population. The role involves caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. PAM Health operates over 80 hospital locations nationwide and employs over 11,000 people, emphasizing compassionate care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, the PTA is primarily responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- Involvement in the further development of services.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
