About The Position
We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant in Hallandale Beach, FL for an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy office. This role is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys helping patients complete treatment sessions that improve mobility, flexibility, strength, and functional movement. You will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist and help patients follow their recovery plans safely and effectively. This position is based in one clinic location only.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans under PT supervision
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, balance activities, gait training, and functional movements
- Monitor patient performance and response during treatment
- Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Review home exercise routines and safe movement habits with patients
- Maintain accurate daily treatment notes
- Help keep the therapy area organized and ready for care
