About The Position

Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting patients with various rehabilitation needs in an outpatient setting. Requirements

Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Passion for patient-centered care and helping others improve their quality of life.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Interest or experience in outpatient orthopedics and movement-based rehabilitation.
Team-oriented mindset and commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one outpatient physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, balance and fall prevention, strengthening, and functional movement.
Educate, encourage, and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Collaborate with the clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience.
Participate in community wellness initiatives and outreach opportunities as interested.
