About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment, helping them improve mobility, confidence, and independence through personalized therapy programs.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, transfer training, and functional movement programs
- Support individualized care plans designed to help residents achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals
- Observe resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with nursing staff and rehabilitation team members to provide coordinated care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
