About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an exciting Contract opportunity in Harrisonburg, VA. This role involves implementing prescribed therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. The PTA will also document patient progress, communicate changes in condition to the supervising therapist, educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required.
- Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred.
- BLS Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
