About The Position
Mid South is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Therapy TEAM at a skilled nursing facility in Scottsboro, Alabama. The position is full-time. Scottsboro, Alabama is where the mountains meet the lakes. Located in Northeastern Alabama at the tail end of the Appalachian Mountains and alongside the Tennessee River, Scottsboro is home to Lake Guntersville, one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. This small city is known for its natural beauty, quality of life, low cost of living, work life balance and more. Scottsboro is located two hours from Birmingham, Alabama and Nashville, Tennessee and just three hours from Atlanta, Georgia.
Requirements
- Must have current unrestricted professional license to practice.
- Graduate from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Must possess excellent organizational, time management, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
