About The Position
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at the Civita Care Center at Meadowbrook. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily activities. The role involves collaborating with a team of PT, OT, SLP, and nursing professionals to provide resident-focused care.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Carry out physical therapy treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
- Support individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional outcomes and resident independence
- Monitor resident participation and response to treatment sessions
- Communicate progress and observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
