About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate therapy team in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role involves delivering high-quality services to residents in a Rehab Center with ALF setting, developing individualized treatment plans to improve function, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team, and documenting progress and outcomes in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
