About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Full-Time or Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity in Kenner, LA. This role involves working in highly-rated Assisted Living Facilities, including Inspired Living of Kenner, St. Francis Villa, SummerHouse Ashton Manor, and Sage Lake Senior Living. The full-time position requires floating between four facilities located in Kenner, River Ridge, Luling, and Covington, with a schedule of 30+ hours per week. Part-time options are available for those preferring to stay in one location. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
