About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brentwood, New Hampshire. The facility is a continuum care community offering assisted living and skilled nursing, and the position offers a flexible schedule with pay of $32–$38 per hour based on experience. The PTA assists with treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, provides direct patient care, monitors and documents patient progress, educates patients and families, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligibility.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care and support effective treatment outcomes.
