About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Neurologic & Specialty Rehab Focus Join a Different Kind of Therapy Team At RVNAhealth, we do things differently. Our Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary, patient-centered outpatient clinic offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy-without the constraints of a hospital-based system. We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about neurologic rehabilitation and specialty care to join our growing team in Ridgefield, CT. Neurologic & Specialty Focus: Parkinson's Disease, vestibular rehab, balance disorders, and complex cases 1:1 Patient Care: 40-minute sessions focused on quality-not volume Collaborative Environment: Work closely with PT, OT, and SLP in a true team model Growth Opportunity: Ideal for clinicians looking to expand beyond orthopedics Mentorship Available: Strong support for new graduates or those transitioning into neuro Wellness Integration: Ongoing programs and partnerships that support long-term patient success

Requirements

Licensed PTA in the state of Connecticut (or eligible)
Interest or experience in neurologic rehabilitation (training available)
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
A clinician who values patient-centered, high-quality care

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with a focus on neurologic and functional outcomes
Develop individualized plans of care with an emphasis on quality and progression
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Utilize innovative tools including HEP platforms, outcomes tracking, and RTM (Remote Therapeutic Monitoring)
Build meaningful relationships with patients and caregivers
