Requirements

Physical Therapy Assistant License or pending license (Required)
2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant

Nice To Haves

Associate degree (Preferred)
Licensed PTA clinical: 1 year (Preferred)
Spanish language proficiency (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Care delivery of patients within the scope of practice defined by state laws and the state Board of Physical Therapy.
Directly carry out day-to-day patient assignments with oversight and guidance from the Physical Therapist.
Conduct physical therapy care within the scope of practice, agency policies, and regulations.
Consistently follow company policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and local standards, rules, and regulations.
Participate in personal professional growth and development.
Participate with the interdisciplinary team to assure coordination and continuity of care delivery.
Report all changes to patient findings to the Physical Therapist, and the physician where applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
