About The Position

Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team. This role involves delivering one-on-one outpatient physical therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The position focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical care, balance and fall prevention, and strengthening. The ideal candidate will educate and motivate patients, document treatments accurately, and collaborate with a supportive clinical team. There are also opportunities to participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan
• Strong communication and people skills
• Passion for patient-centered care
• Interest in outpatient orthopedics and movement-based rehab
• Team-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one outpatient physical therapy under the direction of a PT
• Assist with orthopedic rehab, post-surgical care, balance/fall prevention, and strengthening
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their plan of care
• Document treatments accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with a supportive clinical team
• Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives (as interested)
