About The Position

Premier Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Ashtabula, Ohio. This role involves providing skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist, assisting patients with various therapeutic needs, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the care team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.

Nice To Haves

• SNF/long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with strength, mobility, balance, gait, and functional activities.
• Monitor progress and communicate with the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Complete required documentation and collaborate with the care team.
