About The Position

Premier Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Ashtabula, Ohio. This role involves providing skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist, assisting patients with strength, mobility, balance, gait, and functional activities. The PTA will monitor patient progress, communicate with the supervising therapist, educate patients and their families, complete required documentation, and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.

Nice To Haves

• SNF/long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with strength, mobility, balance, gait, and functional activities.
• Monitor progress and communicate with the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Complete required documentation and collaborate with the care team.
