About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Surrounding Areas We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing essential rehabilitative services to patients in surrounding areas. Requirements

Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Valid state licensure or certification as a PTA
Proven experience working with diverse patient populations preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Must be able to provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
Proactively identify Company risks and institute policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance using related law and industry data,
Identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between one's area and other areas, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals.

Maintain current state PTA license certification.
Graduate of a school with PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE or its successor organizations or meet any other Home Health Care Conditions of Participation PTA 42 requirements as outlined in 42 CFR 418.114(b)(8)- 418.114(b)(8) (ii) (A) (4).
Successfully passed a national PTA examination recognized by the APTA.
Minimum of one year of PTA experience in a health care setting, home health care experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License
Valid and current CPR Certification

Responsibilities

Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist
Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment in compliance with healthcare regulations
Adhere to all safety protocols and confidentiality standards
