About The Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides quality rehabilitative services under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist. The PTA works with patients who have musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary deficiencies, promotes excellent customer service, and adheres to state and federal standards. This is a PRN home health role serving the San Antonio area and surrounding counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, DeWitt, Frio, Gillespie, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, Victoria, and Wilson. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree in science or applied science approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
Current and unencumbered certification or license to practice physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
Good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
Maintain valid CPR certification obtained in person, with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
Access to reliable transportation.
