About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides quality rehabilitative services under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist. The role works with patients who have musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary deficiencies and promotes excellent customer service while adhering to state and federal standards. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate's degree in science or applied science approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
- Current and unencumbered certification or license to practice physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
- Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Maintain valid CPR certification obtained in person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
- Access to reliable transportation.
