As a part time, nonexempt Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a hands-on role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Working under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists, you will implement treatment plans, support patient progress, and contribute to a collaborative care environment. Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing (or eligibility)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Experience with Parkinson’s treatment and/or vestibular treatment
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy treatments according to plan of care in outpatient, acute care, or home health settings
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and ensure exercises are performed safely and correctly
- Document via Epic or Homecare application
- Perform clinical upkeep as needed
- Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation staff
- Adhere to state practice acts, facility policies, and professional standards
