About The Position

HireHawk is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, direct-hire position at their Santa Ana clinic. The role involves providing hands-on outpatient orthopedic treatment, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy. Each patient appointment is approximately one hour, with the first 30 minutes dedicated to one-on-one patient interaction and the remainder supported by an aide. This position is ideal for a PTA who prioritizes and actively utilizes manual therapy in their practice.

Requirements

  • An active California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
  • Recent, ongoing hands-on manual therapy experience from actual clinical practice. Outdated experience, school-only experience, or manual therapy experience limited to skilled nursing facilities or home health does not qualify.
  • Clinical competence in manual therapy and comfort providing one-on-one, hands-on treatment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach to communication.
  • Comfort learning and adapting to the clinic’s EMR, AI-assisted documentation tools, and workflows.
  • Availability to work full-time, on-site in Santa Ana during the weekday schedule outlined above.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with aides to support a smooth transition through the remainder of each patient’s visit.
  • Maintain clear treatment documentation using the clinic’s EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
  • Learn and apply new clinic technologies and workflows while keeping patient care at the center of your work.
