About The Position
We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Boca Raton, FL for an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy office. This role supports patients as they complete treatment plans created by the supervising Physical Therapist. As a PTA, you will guide patients through exercises, mobility work, stretching, strengthening, balance activities, and functional training. Your work helps patients stay engaged in their recovery and continue moving toward better function.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Follow treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional movement activities
- Support mobility training, balance work, strengthening, stretching, and gait activities
- Monitor patient response during treatment sessions
- Report patient updates, progress, or concerns to the supervising PT
- Reinforce home exercise programs and proper technique
- Complete accurate daily treatment documentation
