About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant implements the plan of care established by the RPT and physician in a professional and competent manner, maintaining high standards of quality care. The position is with Functional Pathways at The Chesapeake, a Life Plan retirement community in Newport News, Virginia. The role is full-time, follows a Monday–Friday schedule, and may require some weekends as needed. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to direct applicants only.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Certification and licensure as required by state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills across therapy disciplines.
- Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure requirements; screening requirements may vary by location.
