About The Position
PRN PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) – HOME HEALTH UT Health East Texas Home Health Make a meaningful impact—on your schedule. We’re seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. In this role, you’ll help patients regain independence, improve mobility, and safely return to daily life—all from the comfort of their homes.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Texas
- Current CPR certification (AHA)
- Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home therapy services under a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through personalized exercise and mobility programs
- Track progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and prevent re-injury
