About The Position

Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) assignment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, functional independence, and overall quality of life. This role involves delivering individualized treatment plans to geriatric and rehabilitation patients in a skilled nursing environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of PTA experience required
• Active PTA license required
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions required
• Strong communication and patient education skills required
• Ability to document accurately in an electronic medical record required

Nice To Haves

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Rehabilitation experience preferred
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams required
• New graduates may be considered based on clinical experience and facility approval
