About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working closely with residents and helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function in a skilled nursing environment.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and mobility interventions
- Support treatment plans designed to promote safe and effective functional progress
- Observe resident performance and communicate progress updates and concerns to the supervising PT
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
