About The Position

Functional Pathways is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team at Falcons Landing, a premier Life Plan Community in Sterling, VA. This CARF-accredited facility is recognized for its state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities, collaborative interdisciplinary team, and dedicated resident population. Falcons Landing serves former members of the armed forces, US government employees, and their spouses in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Functional Pathways, with 30 years of experience, offers world-class clinical services, evidence-based programs, and a holistic, patient-centered approach that addresses neurological, cardiopulmonary, cognitive, and musculoskeletal needs. They utilize innovative treatments like aquatic therapy and non-invasive interventions. Therapists receive training and certification in specialty programs through CORE4+ and Wellness offerings, with company-paid CEUs through MedBridge available for full-time and part-time team members to support professional growth. The role involves implementing the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist and physician, ensuring professional competence and quality of care.

Requirements

Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
Active state license required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines.
Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.
