Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
About The Position
Powerback is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation in an in-facility setting. The role implements physical therapy programs and activities, follows recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities. The assistant adapts care to individual patient needs, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals when needed to help patients receive appropriate care. The position emphasizes compassionate, high-quality service to patients and their families. The role reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its approach as integrated and individualized, focused on helping patients recover and improve their movement, breathing, and overall well-being. The posted salary range is USD $34.00–$40.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities.

- Deliver therapy treatments to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities.
- Adapt care to individual patient needs and the variety of care settings.
