About The Position

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation in an in-facility setting. The role implements physical therapy programs and activities, follows recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities. The assistant adapts care to individual patient needs, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals when needed to help patients receive appropriate care. The position emphasizes compassionate, high-quality service to patients and their families.

The role reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its approach as integrated and individualized, aiming to help patients recover and improve how they feel, move, breathe, and live. The posted salary is $50.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address patients as individuals and execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.
• Adapt to patients’ needs and varied work settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals when appropriate.
