About The Position
13-week Physical Therapist Assistant assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. The PTA will assist in providing rehabilitation services to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license for the applicable state
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer techniques, and mobility assistance
- Ability to accurately document patient progress and follow treatment plans
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 2 years of PTA experience preferred
- Previous skilled nursing facility experience preferred
