About The Position
Encompass Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality, compassionate, personalized physical therapy care and support patients' rehabilitation progress. The role works within a supportive team and well-equipped physical therapy gyms at a national inpatient rehabilitation provider. The position is being recruited through a hiring event on Tuesday, November 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Holiday Inn Cookeville, 1091 S Willow Ave., Cookeville, TN 38501. Requirements
- State licensure or certification is required.
- Demonstrated competence in physical therapy treatment.
- Strong communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and caregivers.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification, as per hospital policy.
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy program.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment in compliance with regulations and professional guidelines.
- Perform delegated physical therapist assistant tasks under supervision to support patient progress.
- Communicate across hospital departments to address patient and staff needs.
- Interact and communicate with patients, families, and caregivers.
