Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
  • Current PTA license in state of practice.
  • CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
  • Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
  • Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
