About The Position
Millennium Home Care, a leading provider of in-home healthcare services, is looking for dedicated PRN PTAs to join our team. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment. This is a PRN (as needed) position.
Requirements
- Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 6 months in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
- Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.
- Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.
