We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Monroe, Michigan for a flexible 15-hour-per-week schedule. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Michigan PTA license (or eligible)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence
- Accurately document patient progress and treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide outstanding patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safety techniques
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company regulations
