About The Position
Scheurer Health, a critical access hospital, is seeking a casual licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Rehabilitation Team.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current PTA license in the state of Michigan
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Responsibilities
- Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate with patients and their families about treatment plans and progress
- Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice
