Requirements
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program curriculum accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Promote and assist patients in a progression of care to achieve optimum patient involvement and independent maintenance of their needs in the least restrictive environment.
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of rehabilitation services.
- Ensure that physical therapy services are provided in accordance with Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations in order to demonstrate support for achieving the mission of the Agency.
