In a skilled nursing setting, the Physical Therapist Assistant treats patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to help patients improve functional outcomes and return to their highest level of independence. The position offers manageable caseloads and respect for clinical judgment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current or eligible for a New York State PTA license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
