About The Position
We are looking for a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in our Waldorf, MD location. Join a collaborative therapy team dedicated to helping residents achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall function
- Track resident progress and recommend treatment modifications when appropriate
- Work closely with PTs, OTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and physicians to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
