About The Position

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their function. You will work closely with our physical therapists to provide hands-on care and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Requirements

Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Familiarity with medical terminology
Experience and skills with manual therapy techniques
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
Ability to Commute: Carlsbad, CA 92009 (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate: Carlsbad, CA 92009: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in sports and orthopedics preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment
Implement treatment plans under the direction of the physical therapist
Administer therapeutic modalities (ie Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Exercises, Therapeutic Activities, etc)
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
Assist with the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment
