About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation department within a skilled nursing facility. We are seeking a clinician who enjoys hands-on patient care, teamwork, and helping residents improve mobility, safety, and independence.
Requirements
- Active PTA license required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with walking programs, transfer training, balance activities, and therapeutic exercises
- Help residents work toward functional mobility and independence goals
- Observe patient performance and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Complete accurate documentation and treatment records
