Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Oakland
About The Position
CVHCare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its home health care agency. The role serves patients in the Oakland and surrounding areas, with possible coverage across two regional groups of cities. The position is not remote and involves working on the road. Entry-level applicants may apply; prior home health experience is not required. Part-time schedules are available at 32 hours per week (24 RVEs), 24 hours per week (18 RVEs), or per diem at six visits per week. Non-traditional schedules, such as Thursday through Monday, are also available. The posting lists compensation starting at $80,000 per year, with the stated rate based on employees working a full-time schedule.
Requirements
- Current California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required.
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
- Valid California driver's license required.
- CPR or BLS certification required.
- One year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is desired; entry-level applicants are also welcome.
- Prior home health experience is not required.
