Our hospital provides vital health care services to the Ada and surrounding communities.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree Required
- Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
- Physical Therapy Assistant in the State
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Responsibilities
- Works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services that support patients in developing, restoring, and maintaining physical function and mobility.
- Implements treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities.
- Monitors patient responses and communicates progress and potential goal modifications to the supervising therapist.
- Documents care provided.
- Educates patients and caregivers about functional deficits.
- Assists with discharge planning, including guidance on adaptive equipment and community resources.
- Ensures high-quality care while promoting patient engagement and recovery.
