HealthPro Heritage has a great Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) opportunity available to join our large rehab team at Maplewood in Bethesda, Maryland! Are you a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of seniors? Full time/Part time pay range: $35-38 with some room room for negotiation PRN rate is $40 an hour

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist (PTA) in Maryland
Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Experience in geriatrics or long-term care is a plus
Strong communication, compassion, and a can-do spirit

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
