About The Position
Mid South is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work PRN on Saturdays in the swing bed unit at a hospital in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Sundays are also permissible. This is a consistent weekly need, requiring approximately 4 hours of work, with the potential to extend up to 8 hours. This role is ideal for individuals seeking weekend assignments.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted professional license to practice.
- Graduate from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association with an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance in the swing bed unit.
- Work weekend assignments, primarily Saturdays, with Sundays as an option.
- Manage patient care for approximately 4 hours per week, potentially up to 8 hours.
