About The Position
Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. This role is vital in making communities healthier by assisting patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities. Requirements
- An Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program
- Current PTA license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous rehab or acute care experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities
- Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and step in with additional duties as needed
