About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The role involves working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The PTA will provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The primary goal is to assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence. This position requires supporting individualized treatment plans within a collaborative rehabilitation environment.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license for the applicable state.
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfer techniques, and mobility rehabilitation.
• Ability to accurately document patient progress and implement established treatment plans.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred.
