About The Position
Merkel Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its in-house therapy team at its long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation facility in Merkel, Texas. The team seeks an innovative, positive, and team-oriented therapist. The position offers the opportunity to work with an in-house therapy team, collaborate with a rehab director, and treat a wide range of conditions. Merkel Care Center is part of Gemini Healthcare and is supported by Vital Therapy, which provides therapy support and leadership to 85 locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The organization emphasizes bringing patients and residents moments of joy, developing and supporting leaders, and providing quality care. Full-time, part-time, and PRN arrangements are available.
Requirements
- Texas license.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients and residents in a long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation setting.
- Work as part of the in-house therapy team and address a wide range of conditions.
