About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing setting, helping them improve mobility, confidence, and overall functional independence.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and therapeutic exercise programs
- Monitor resident performance and communicate progress, concerns, or changes in status to the PT
- Support individualized rehabilitation plans designed to improve functional outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
