Human Touch Home Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team serving patients throughout Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County. This PRN opportunity offers flexibility, independence, and the chance to make a real difference in people's lives by helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, reduce fall risks, and return to the activities they enjoy most. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll help patients safely walk across their living room, navigate stairs, or return to daily routines, directly impacting their independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant License Required
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
- Commitment to Delivering Outstanding Patient Care
Nice To Haves
- Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and safety techniques
- Assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
